The four pieces entailed in this release are a collection of field recordings, heavily manipulated and layered, alongside some found sounds and instrumental recordings made between January and May of this year.

The first two of these pieces were meant to showcase the new Zoom recorder I acquired this year. There's a certain inspiring quality about being able to record high-quality (meaning, not completely muffled and tinny) audio from anywhere. I've been finding recently that I take just as much pleasure from this as I do recording music with traditional instrumentation.

The last two pieces are more strictly musical instrumentals, in that they were created with my usual setup of drum machine and synthesizer, with a few droning effects in the mix.

This album is released into the public domain as part of the CC0 Creative Commons license (note that Bandcamp only officially lists CC-BY-SA licenses for distribution), and can be used for distribution, remixes, and adaptations, under any format, and does not require credit of myself (though it is ccertainly appreciated.)
